2021 GT-R Nismo Edition - The Nissan Supercar
Born on the track, and adapted for the open road, the GT-R is Nissan's supercar. They have poured a massive amount of research, engineering, and testing into developing the GT-R. Every inch of this car has been obsessed over by Nissan engineers to deliver this beauty. The Nismo is a monster of a sports car that features acceleration so incredible that it will push you back in your seat whenever you hit the gas pedal. The aerodynamics have been tweaked and contoured to cut through the air as well as reduce drag and increase the downforce. Under the hood, the Nismo features a track-tuned 600 horsepower engine that delivers a zero-to-sixty time of 2.5 seconds!
The Nismo features a liberal amount of carbon-fiber components that help reduce the weight and increase the downward force. Custom 20" RAYS forged wheels help further shave weight and help the vehicle respond more quickly to driver inputs. There are a host of other enhancements in the Nismo edition, all designed to increase the performance of this vehicle.
Nissan only produced a very limited number of 2021 GT-R Nismos and the entire run of 300 or so vehicles is already spoken for. Dublin Nissan is receiving one late October / Early November so if you are in the market for one of these rare supercars contact us as soon as possible.
The GT-R Nismo Engine
600 hp of Unrivalled Power
Borne from the Nissan GT3 racing program, the GT-R Nismo comes with a specially tuned 3.8-liter V-6 that outputs 600 horsepower. Paired with a six-speed automatic transmission, it can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 2.5 seconds, has a top speed of 205 mph (330 km/h), and produces 481 lb-ft of torque at 3600rpm. This beautiful and powerful engine delivers aggressive power across the rpm range that is felt in the driver's seat whenever you press on the gas.

Brembo is a tried and true producer of ceramic braking systems since 2002. These top-of-line carbon ceramic disc brakes offer many advantages over conventional braking systems. They are quieter, produce less dust, and last significantly longer. More importantly, they offer higher braking performance in both wet and dry conditions and weigh quite a bit less - another vital consideration for supercars such as the GT-R Nismo.
GT-R Nismo Exterior
Every inch of the exterior on this car has been engineered to win races. The The aerodynamics help reduce drag and exert the downward forces required to maintain stability at high speeds. This car cuts through the air like a knife. Nissan has pulled out all the stops to make their supercar fast, and devilishly fun to drive. A liberal use of carbon fiber helps reduce weight, reduce drag, and increase stiffness of the body.
Carbon Fiber Hood
The carbon fiber hood reduces weight over the front of the vehicle. This helps lower the center of gravity and the overall vehicle weight distribution - resulting in improved handling.
Carbon Fiber Fenders
The carbon fiber fenders enhance steering input through forward weight reduction. Strategically placed vents also help increase downward force - further increasing the responsiveness of the GT-R.
Carbon Fiber Roof
The carbon fiber roof allows for even more weight savings. Every ounce saved on a car like this results in improved stability, cornering, and overall handling.
Carbon Fiber Rear Spoiler
The carbon fiber rear spoiler improves the high-speed stability of the car by providing aerodynamic downward force on the vehicle.
Carbon Fiber Side Sills
These side sills, or skirts, are designed with performance in mind. They help extend the bottom of the vehicle to reduce drag and improve handling.
Carbon Fiber Rear Fascia
The addition of a carbon fiber rear fascia helps improve the performance of the vehicle by reducing the weight.
Carbon Fiber Trunk Lid
When you are pushing the limits of performance, every ounce matters. Replacing the metal trunk lid with carbon fiber allows for a significant weight reduction.

20" RAYS Forged Wheels
These 20" RAYS aluminum forged wheels have been specially designed to shave additional weight versus the stock wheels. These lighter wheels allow the suspension to react more quickly to changing road conditions and to the driver. The design allows for more airflow to the ceramic braking system which improves the cooling. Paired with special tires they allow for a larger contact path with the road, reduced resistance, and more grip when cornering.
Body Bonding to Enhance Rigidity
The GT-R's frame has undergone special enhancements to improve its rigidity. A rigid, or 'stiff' frame is very important in high-performance vehicles as it vastly improves handling, especially at higher speeds.
Race-Tuned Suspension
The Nismo suspension has been specially tuned with high-performance in mind. The result is a corner-hugging machine that responds to the drivers input with finesse - even while pushing the limits of performance. The springs and custom dampeners help deliver the increased grip and handling at all speeds.
